To guarantee a quality lodging experience for all of our guests, we have developed a few guidelines.

Downieville, 13 miles west of Sierra City, is the only full-service community during the winter that is anywhere close to the trailheads. Bassetts Station, at the junction with 49 and the Gold Lake Road, offers gasoline, supplies, a small cafe, and a motel. Sierra City has a few establishments that remain open for limited hours during the winter, but most businesses are seasonal. Many of the resorts along the North Yuba River offer lodging at reduced prices during the winter.. 

For the comfort of all our guests it is important

to bring your winter clothes:

  • Under NO circumstances are you not going the have the best time of your life**

  • Under NO circumstances will you ever forget your vacation with us.

  • Snow skiing in the area and don't forget about the snowball fights.

  Roads closed off and trails of many lengths in the area

  Please ask our staff about winter agenda, you won't be sorry and everything you need to know is

  provided by the Resort.
